What I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who I am

This site is run by Luke Tyler, Lakeside Edge, Peterborough, PE7 8RH. I'm responsible for the personal information described here. Contact me at hello@luketyler.xyz.

What I collect

  • When you buy. Your name, email address, billing country, what you bought and how much you paid. Your card details go straight to Stripe and I never see them.
  • When you message me. Your name, email address, your message and anything else you add to the form.
  • When you visit. The services that run this site record technical details such as your IP address and browser type in their logs. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records which pages you visit, roughly where you are, your device and how you found the site.
  • Your currency choice. If you pick a currency in the shop, your browser remembers it. This stays on your device.

Why I use it

  • To take payment, send your files, licence certificate and order email, and help if something goes wrong. This is needed to fulfil your order.
  • To keep business and tax records, as the law requires.
  • To reply to your messages, prevent fraud and keep the site secure. These are my legitimate interests.
  • To understand how people find and use the site. I only use analytics cookies if you agree.

I don't send marketing emails and I never sell your information.

Who I share it with

  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Postmark sends order emails and passes on messages.
  • Google Firebase hosts the site and stores orders and messages.
  • Bunny.net delivers downloads and audio clips.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.
  • Google Analytics measures visits.

Some of these services process information outside the UK, including in the United States, using the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Cookies

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to prevent fraud.

How long I keep it

Order records for six years, because tax law requires it. Messages for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email hello@luketyler.xyz and I'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
